Medicom Toy has partnered with the National League for this collaboration on their hugely popular Bearbrick. It is one of the two major baseball leagues in the United States, along with the American League.
The latter was created in 1876 and replaced the National Association of Professional Baseball Players. It started with 6 teams and quickly grew to 16 teams. There is also the division by conference: East, West and Center. The National League is unique in that it requires the batter to also pitch in the game.
There are for example the Los-Angeles Dodgers, the New-York Mets or the San Diego Padres !
