SAMURA
Samura prioritizes innovation in knife design and craftsmanship, producing premium cutlery from Japanese and Swedish steel. Each knife is expertly sharpened and hardened through a unique manual convex sharpening technique, ensuring unparalleled sharpness and durability.
OUR STORYSAMURA
At Samura®, we are devoted to one principle: Precision is everything. Samura® knives are crafted from the finest Japanese and Swedish steel, hardened to 58–61 HRC, then sharpened at a unique angle of 15–17 degrees. Many of our series go through manual convex sharpening, a far more costly and time-consuming process. We aim for our knives to cut better than anything ever experienced. Samura was also the first brand to implement "stonewash" serial production, which gives each blade a non-stick surface, ensuring effortless cutting.

How long is SAMURA made to last?
Samura knives are designed to be highly durable, with a long lifespan that depends on factors like the type of steel, sharpening process, and maintenance by the user. Made from premium Japanese and Swedish steels, Samura knives offer excellent hardness and edge retention, which can endure frequent use for many years with proper care. Their unique convex sharpening enhances longevity, as it strengthens the blade’s edge and reduces the need for frequent resharpening. With routine maintenance, such as proper cleaning, storage, and periodic honing, Samura knives can last decades, making them a reliable investment for both professional and home kitchens.
