- Flagship configuration -Break through the structural boundaries of a small cavity. A total of seven driver units (1DD, 2BA, and 4 EST) are arranged in parallel within the housing, combining the high-frequency response of an electrostatic driver with the high resolution of a balanced armature. The dynamic driver offers resonant and responsive bass, creating a concert hall-level listening experience. Even when worn for extended periods, the Baldr 2 remains lightweight and comfortable.
- Dual Knowles balanced armature drivers-Knowles RAF-32873 composite BA drivers are responsible for midrange reproduction. They are combined with the other drivers using sophisticated acoustic technology. Once tuned, they can not only control the sense of dynamics but also preserve all the advantages of the EST driver to ensure a well-balanced blend of all frequencies.
- Sonion high-frequency electrostatic transducers -The high registers are handled by a 1x4 Sonion EST65QB02 electrostatic unit. This electrostatic driver offers greater speed, improved transient response, more expressive detail, and greater high-frequency extension. It's ideal for complementing the Baldr's interpretation of the exceptionally low distortion sound, producing a more realistic, brighter, and warmer sound.
- Powerful dynamic driver for realistic and powerful low end-Kinera's 7mm dynamic magnetic driver, with a 3-layer PU + polyamide fiber + titanium-coated composite diaphragm, delivers even more truly excellent sound. This powerful magnetic driver features a circular N52 magnetic steel with high magnetic flux. The PU mixed material improves bass extension, the high-poly fiber provides a wider soundstage, and the titanium enhances definition for rich vocals and responsive bass.
- Precise frequency division for distortion-free sound-The Kinera Baldr 2 features a three-way acoustic design that ensures perfect integration between the various drivers. It exhibits zero distortion and provides accurate frequency separation across the high, mid, and low bands. The entire blend curve is smooth.
