This record is a collection of stories, and the concept of album-as-mythos binds them. The Pyre itself is an allegorical place in which these tales originate-a place of violence and destruction, but also regeneration, passion, and light, the band shares.

Darker, rawer, and more grounded than before, The Pyre walks a tightrope between theatrical storytelling and emotional vulnerability. These songs are deeply personal but cast as vivid allegories-turning ghosting into a Western standoff, and heartbreak into an apocalyptic reckoning. The imagery is rich and mythic, invoking rifles, scythes, sailors, saints, floods, Joan of Arc, and blazing infernos.
