At its core, Pro-Ject's T2 Super Phono turntable is a beefed-up iteration of their popular T1. It's got a thicker glass platter, a more robust tonearm, and an upgraded cartridge. Its built-in phono preamp uses circuitry derived from the company's highly successful Phono Box S2, and it's switchable so you can connect to pretty much any sound system and experiment with different cartridges and external phono stages.
It's simple to set up with new spring-based anti-skate control - no free-hanging counterweight. Manual operation is straightforward with electronic speed control for easy switching between 33-1/3 rpm and 45 rpm. And it sounds great with its factory-aligned Sumiko Rainier moving magnet cartridge.
