And dimpling is applied to metal band pieces to reproduce the look of the very first G-SHOCK resin band design. The stainless-steel case of the GM-B2100BT features the same screw-lock construction as the original to ensure a tight seal. And the fact that the watch is crafted at Yamagata Casio, the "mother factory" where the first ever G-SHOCK was made, brings the whole design full circle.
